The University of Abou Bekr Belkaid – Tlemcen welcomed this afternoon a working visit by His Excellency Mr. Noureddine OUADAH, Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, accompanied by the Wali of Tlemcen and the President of the Provincial People’s Assembly.

Upon his arrival at the rectorate, the Minister was received by Prof. Ali HAMZA CHERIF, representing the Rector, and Prof. Mourad MEGHACHOU, in the presence of vice-rectors, deans, as well as faculty members, researchers, and students leading innovative projects.
His Excellency began his visit at the University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where he explored the various structures and facilities dedicated to supporting students in developing their innovative projects. He also held a rich and constructive exchange with project leaders and start-ups on ways to foster entrepreneurial initiatives within the university.
During this exchange, the Minister emphasized the importance of moving from idea to practice, urging students and project leaders to demonstrate seriousness and commitment in order to bring their ideas to fruition. He also expressed his great admiration and enthusiasm for the diligent and fruitful work carried out by the University of Tlemcen, particularly in supporting innovative project leaders and promoting an entrepreneurial spirit on campus.
This visit is part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between the university and the knowledge economy sector and to consolidate communication bridges between the components of the university system and its economic and social environment. It aims to support university innovation and entrepreneurship, enabling students to transform their ideas into productive projects with tangible economic and developmental impact.
