On November 20, 2025, the Laboratory “Foreign Language Policy in Algeria and Teacher Professionalization” at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tlemcen, organized a national hybrid conference under the chairmanship of Dr. Adila BARAZEK, in the presence Pr.KERBOUCHE Abderrahmane, dean of faculty of Letters and Arts, Pr.HAMZA REGUIGUE MORRO Wassila, dean of the faculty of Languages,  and the Pr.FARID Daoudi, head of english department 

The event combined in-person and virtual sessions, providing a platform for exchange and reflection on the ongoing transformations in foreign language teaching, the integration of digital technologies, and the adaptation of pedagogical practices to the needs of contemporary learners.

The discussions highlighted the strategic importance of renewing teaching methods, enhancing students’ linguistic and cultural competencies, and promoting innovative pedagogical approaches. The conference concluded with recommendations to strengthen teacher training, revise curricula, encourage applied research, and foster scientific partnerships to support pedagogical innovation
