A meeting of the University Board of Administration was held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Rectorate meeting room, under the chairmanship of the Rector, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, and in the presence of the Board members. This meeting was part of the follow-up and evaluation of various pedagogical and administrative files related to the management of university affairs and the strengthening of institutional performance.
The meeting was devoted to examining the pedagogical situation across the various faculties, as well as Project 1275 related to start-ups, which is considered a strategic axis aimed at supporting innovation, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit within the university environment, and encouraging students and project holders to materialize their ideas and transform them into emerging economic enterprises with high added value.
A presentation of the outcomes of short-term mobility programs for the previous academic year was also delivered, along with an overview of the planned programs and mobility prospects for the current academic year.
The meeting also addressed the preparations for the doctoral entrance examination, as well as the review of the 2026 draft budget, with the aim of ensuring efficient financial management, rationalizing expenditures, and achieving the set objectives in accordance with the adopted priorities. The meeting concluded with the discussion of various additional points, providing Board members with the opportunity to raise different concerns and proposals, within the framework of strengthening the principles of university governance, improving the quality of pedagogical and administrative performance, and serving the interests of the university community.
