On Monday, January 26, 2025, Abou Bekr Belkaid University – Tlemcen received the Rector of Saïda – Moulay Tahar University, Prof. Fathallah Ouahbi Tebboune, accompanied by a delegation of university officials, as part of a working visit aimed at strengthening scientific and pedagogical cooperation between the two institutions.

The delegation was welcomed at the Central Library of the university by Prof. Ali Hamza Cherif, Vice-Rector in charge of External Relations, Prof. Bachir Redouane, Vice-Rector in charge of Postgraduate Studies, and Prof. Bounouar Bensaim, Vice-Rector in charge of Pedagogy.

The main purpose of this visit was to present the digital platform developed by Saïda – Moulay Tahar University, designed for the preparation and improvement of PhD entrance examination questions. The delegation provided a detailed explanation of the platform’s functionality, its evaluation mechanisms, and its key objectives, which include enhancing question quality, standardizing pedagogical practices across universities, and strengthening transparency and objectivity in the organization of third-cycle competitions.

At the end of the meeting, a discussion session was held for the faculty and staff of Tlemcen University. Several questions were raised regarding the platform’s adoption process and its integration into PhD exam preparation. The discussions were deemed highly productive, reflecting the faculty’s strong interest in the project and emphasizing the importance of experience sharing and inter-university cooperation to ensure that competitions are conducted according to uniform and transparent academic standards.
