As part of strengthening pedagogical support mechanisms and consolidating the role of the academic tutor within the university environment, the Faculty of Foreign Languages hosted the closing ceremony of the final session of the training workshop dedicated to the Tutoring Unit (Tutorat), organized for faculty tutors.
This training initiative was implemented within a structured and progressive program delivered over several sessions, in the presence of the University Rector, Pr. Mourad MEGHACHOU, as well as the Vice-Rector in charge of Pedagogy, Pr. Bounouar BENSAIME.
The sessions were conducted by Dr. Hakima Daoud from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. They were held on December 16 and February 12, and concluded on February 25 with a final session entitled:“Educational Tutoring Relationships: A Key to Optimal, Effective, and Sustainable Support,” within the field of psychology.
The themes addressed emphasized the importance of establishing a tutoring relationship based on trust and effective communication, as well as highlighting the strategic role of the academic tutor in providing balanced pedagogical and psychological support. This approach aims to enhance student integration and effectively support their academic journey, while promoting the human and professional dimensions of university tutoring.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation and facilitation, in recognition of the efforts made by the trainer and the participating faculty members, and in appreciation of their commitment to improving the quality of academic tutoring and pedagogical performance within the faculty.
Through this initiative, the University reaffirms its commitment to continuous professional development for faculty members, thereby enhancing the quality of university support services and fostering a culture of effective and sustainable tutoring
