The University of Tlemcen has concluded the regional training session dedicated to the heads of Quality Assurance Cells in higher education institutions across the western provinces of Algeria. This training, organized under the supervision of the National Commission for Quality Assurance (CIAQUES), is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen quality improvement and governance mechanisms within higher education institutions.
The second and final day was marked by intensive practical workshops, focusing on the institutional project as a strategic tool for enhancing organizational performance, while highlighting ways to align it with modern quality standards.
Special emphasis was also placed on the integration of artificial intelligence into quality assurance systems, through the presentation of practical applications aimed at improving academic and administrative management, as well as enhancing decision-making processes within universities.
The session also featured interactive workshops designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences among participants, with a focus on harmonizing field practices and developing operational tools within quality cells. These discussions contributed to strengthening the culture of continuous improvement and adapting to digital transformations in the higher education sector.
The training concluded with a set of recommendations stressing the importance of continuing capacity-building programs, reinforcing coordination among stakeholders, and consolidating good governance principles, in order to further enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research in line with international standards.
