The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is organizing an international scientific competition in December 2017 entitled "International Environment Award (EcoWORD)".

The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is a Russian non-governmental organization created in 1990 to promote research in the natural sciences, including the environment and sustainable development. It comprises 3500 Russian scientists and other foreigners from 48 countries.
