The University of Tlemcen celebrated the Day of Knowledge during a grand ceremony held at the central library of the new campus on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. The ceremony was marked by the remarkable presence of students and faculty members, with the library corridors adorned with a large exhibition featuring various faculty libraries showcasing their rich and diverse scientific publications, ranging from literature and philosophy to history, natural sciences, and technology, offering students vast horizons for reading and knowledge. The celebration extended beyond book exhibitions to include an exhibition of scientific clubs presenting their projects and activities, garnering admiration from participants. As part of the series of intellectual and scientific seminars organized by the university to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment, Professor Abdelhafid Bourdim from the Faculty of Arts and Languages delivered a valuable lecture titled "Science and its Civilizational Dimensions in the Literature of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars," addressing the role of this association in the dissemination of science and knowledge and in the promotion of values.
