As part of the implementation of Note No. 40 dated January 16, 2025, concerning the management and organization of archives within higher education and scientific research institutions, a second meeting was held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the meeting room of the city center campus of Abou Bekr Belkaïd University – Tlemcen.

 

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Omar SAADANA, Deputy Director of Archives and Documentation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and was attended by the university's rector, Professor Mourad MEGHACHOU, the general secretaries of faculties and institutes, deputy directors in charge of administration and finance, as well as archive managers and archivists representing the various university institutions of Tlemcen.

 

This meeting is part of a broader effort to ensure ongoing coordination and monitoring among stakeholders, with the aim of improving the document management system and ensuring optimal preservation of the university’s archival heritage.
